We have taken the speed dating concept and have created Endless Knot Dating, the most SUCCESSFUL and FUN way to meet other singles in Tel-Aviv and the Merkaz.
As we specifically match professional people according to age, it has timelessly been proven to increase the chances of having a positive match.
We cater for professional men and women who believe, as we do, that online-dating, pick-up bars and clubs are so out, and that Endless Knot Speed Dating is so in!
Speed dating is an ingenious way for like-minded singles to meet each other and have fun in the process. We bring them together in one place to mingle, socialize and if there is a match between them, they can get together immediately. The result is a completely energetic and fun-filled event where strangers can become friends and more.
During the event, the bar remains closed and every participant will go on up to 10 dates. Each date will last 5 minutes. There will be special chasers drinks for all the participants and everyone is welcome to stay after the event, when the bar opens to the public, to continue getting to know each other.
On a match card that we will give you at the beginning of our event, you will write the names of the singles that you liked; and if they picked you too, then there's a "MATCH" and we will email you each other's phone numbers that night!
Facts and Research
Speed dating is a system whose purpose is to allow single people to meet a large number of new people in a short period of time. Its origins are credited to Rabbi Yaacov Deyo of Aish HaTorah in Beverly Hills, who originally created the method to assist Jewish singles to meet one another in the late 1990s.
Featured many times in glamorous shows and movies such as Sex and the City and Hitched. Speed dating is hugely popular for one central reason: it saves time. Based on the fact that first impressions are often permanent, individuals tend to assess romantic compatibility within moments of meeting.
- A 2005 study by the University of Pennsylvania found that the majority of people had made up their minds about their new acquaintance within first three seconds of meeting them.
- A 2006 Edinburgh, UK study found that talking about travel resulted in more matches than conversation about movies.
- A 2007 US study suggests that speed dating may be a valuable method of introducing people who consequently go out on follow-up dates with each other.
